Techified

The Alpine DVI-9990 is the main input device to the new line of cutting edge “Alpine F#1 Status components”. I trialled the system with its sister components, so can only judge it as part of an overall package in terms of sound output, however I will cover the components features as a standalone package.

The hardware itself is a pretty standard size, measuring 178×50x155mm and weighs in at 1.6kg. It has a copper chassis with black finish and has a detachable front panel, which is to be expected. The LCD display is powered by Alpines new “BioLite” technology and is bright, sharp and has a good range of illumination effects.
